About
For me, photography has never been about taking pictures. It's about preserving a feeling.
Every photograph should tell a story so vividly that years from now, you can look at it and remember exactly what it felt like to be there. That's the goal behind every frame I create: not just documenting a moment, but allowing you to step back into it.
I've been behind a camera since I was 15 years old. Growing up, my dad's love of photography and forcing my family to stay present by capturing life moments sparked my own fascination with visual storytelling. What started as curiosity quickly became a lifelong passion. Since then, I've spent nearly two decades refining my craft through photography, filmmaking, graphic design, and theatre.
My work is heavily inspired by cinema. I pay close attention to composition, light, color, movement, and emotion, approaching each session the way a filmmaker approaches a scene. I want my images to feel timeless, immersive, and emotionally honest rather than simply posed. Every location, every expression, and every detail is part of a larger story waiting to be told.
That cinematic perspective has only deepened through my background as a theatre director and educator. Directing actors has taught me how to help people feel comfortable, communicate authentic emotion, and create natural movement in front of the camera. Whether you've never had professional photos taken or you're completely at ease, my job is to guide you through the experience while making it feel effortless.
I earned my Bachelor's degree in Communication Arts with a concentration in Media Studies from Trinity Christian College, along with minors in Theatre and Graphic Design. Since then, I've continued building my career across photography, filmmaking, creative direction, education, and multimedia production. Every experience has strengthened my ability to connect with people and tell meaningful stories through visual art.
No two people, relationships, or celebrations are the same, and your photographs shouldn't be either. I take the time to understand what matters most to you so that together we create images that feel genuine, personal, and lasting.
When you invest in photography with me, you're not simply receiving beautiful images. You're preserving a chapter of your story in a way that feels authentic, cinematic, and timeless.
I'd be honored to help tell your story.
