This session took a bit longer than expected to get out. A main reason was some major life changes that I was going through, but also the fact that this session had a lot of really good shots that I liked. It also didn’t help that my talent knows how to WORK IT. Annie was a student of mine when I first started directing theatre and I knew when I first saw her in a performance that she was special. She may have struggled to fit into a high school setting, but thats because Annie is, like myself, an old soul. She is a deep seeded person who likes to love and laugh and cares deeply for the people who show her love. I was glad that I took the time to mentor her because we grew from a actor-director relationship to a strong friendship. We tried a few acting exercises during this session to convey different emotions to the camera; and without any surprises, she nailed ‘em. So much so, as I had already stated, it took me forever to narrow down to this fifty few. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed taking them. Annie, please remember how special you are because you carry something great inside of you that makes you attractive to those who come in contact with you. Thanks for being a fellow nerd with me and Tina. Hope we stay friends for a long time.
